Angel with funky background

Another cool angel image. I really didn't have much idea what I was gonna draw when I started this. I only knew I wanted to draw an angel. I did play around with the pose a bit, then just lightly sketched it out until the foreshortening started to come together nicely. I darkened the pencil lines in Photoshop, tried to give it an "inked" look. Then I added the background: I selected the grey areas & filled them in with the paintbucket. Then I applied a filter to the background, some kind of artistic one, I think.
